Memories unravel in every corner of my house threatening to consume me, chew me up, digest me. I try to keep them carefully tucked away, but they ooze from the cracks and climb into the ductwork. They echo in the walls, call from the vents, whisper in the air I breathe. I pile new memories on old, trying to muffle the noise, but they only add their voices to the cacophony of my life.
